He led Nirvana as the de facto figurehead of the grunge movement in the early 1990s, which was associated with the largest underground music explosion since punk rock. Cobain released the album Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings and his most popular songs include And I Love Her, She Only Lies, and Letters to Frances.
