Ann Reinking was an American dancer, choreographer, and actress. She is known for her role as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago and became one of the chief interpreters of Bob Fosse's work through her collaborations with him. Reinking pursued her passion for dance from a young age, when she earned a scholarship to study ballet. She appeared as a dancer in several musical telecasts, including Liza with a Z, and in the films Movie Movie, Annie (with Tim Curry), and Micki & Maude. Reinking passed away in 2020.
