Bobby Van was an American actor and game show host. Van began his career as a musician before going into acting. His film credits included Kiss Me Kate, Lost Horizon, Small Town Girl, and The Affairs of Dobie Gillis ; and his television credits include CHiPS, Battlestar Galactica, and The Love Boat. Van was a game show host as well, hosting Showoffs and Make Me Laugh. He passed away in 1980.
