Bill Thompson was an American radio personality and voice actor (1913-1971). He contributed to the success of classic radio comedy through his featured comedic roles, playing multiple characters on the Fibber McGee and Molly radio series. He provided voice acting for many Walt Disney films including Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland. Thompson also provided the voice of Droopy in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio theatrical cartoons produced between 1943 and 1958. He passed away in 1971.
