Davy Jones was an English singer and actor (1945-2012). Jones appeared in the medical drama Ben Casey and the sitcom The Farmer's Daughter. He was lead singer of The Monkees, which recorded their first single, Last Train to Clarksville, in 1966. Jones starred in the NBC television series The Monkees, which ran from 1966 to 1968. Jones also appeared in SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob vs. The Big One with Johnny Depp, and his most popular songs include the singles Today's the Day with Peter Noone, Man We Was Lonely, and Rainbows.
