Anthony Newley was a British actor and musician (1931-1999). His film credits include Oliver Twist, Fire Down Below, Doctor Dolittle, and Stagecoach alongside Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson. Newley also directed Summertree and wrote the musical Stop the World - I Want to Get Off. As a musician, he released the singles Do You Mind, Moogies Bloogies with Delia Derbyshire, and I've Waited So Long.
