

John Oliver
John Oliver is a British-American comedian and television host. He performed in The Comedy Zone showcase at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2001 and debuted his first solo show at the festival the following year. In 2004, Oliver co-hosted Political Animal on BBC Radio 4 with Andy Zaltzman. He appeared in the 2008 film The Love Guru, which starred Mike Myers, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba. After relocating to the U.S. to work on The Daily Show, he performed stand-up at small clubs in New York City. Oliver graduated from Christ’s College, Cambridge, in 1998. He later created and hosted Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, served as an executive producer on Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas, and co-hosted the entertainment news podcast Strike Force Five.
