Michael Richards is an American actor and comedian. He developed his standup comedy act on the L.A. club circuit in 1979. He appeared in the television series Fridays and later in Seinfeld alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jerry Seinfeld, and Jason Alexander. For his role in Seinfeld, Richards received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1993. Richards' film credits include UHF, Problem Child, and Coneheads.
