

Ian Anderson
Scottish musician, leader of Jethro Tull
Ian Anderson is the longtime lead singer and flautist of the British rock band Jethro Tull, known for frequently playing the flute on one leg. Occasionally, he records solo albums that depart significantly from Jethro Tull's output. His solo albums include Rupi's Dance, which features the popular song of the same name, Ian Anderson Plays the Orchestral Jethro Tull, and Thick As a Brick 2. Among his other popular songs are The Secret Language of Birds and Adrift and Dumfounded. He has appeared in the documentary A Venue For The End Of The World and the film Jethro Tull: Live At Montreux 2003.
