Billy Ray Cyrus is an American country singer, actor, and patriarch of a family of pop stars. His 1992 hit Achy Breaky Heart was a global phenomenon and a milestone in contemporary country music, staying at the top of Billboard's country charts for longer than any song since 1967. He also made history by appearing on Lil Nas X's remix of Old Town Road, which stayed on top of Billboard's Hot 100 for 19 weeks.


In between these record-breaking hits, Cyrus starred in the show Doc and Disney's Hannah Montana franchise alongside his daughter Miley Cyrus and released the albums It Won’t Be The Last, Trail of Tears, Back to Tennessee, and Change My Mind. In addition to Miley, Cyrus's children Noah Cyrus and Trace Cyrus have had notable music careers. Cyrus also appeared in the 2001 David Lynch film Mulholland Drive
