Frances Langford was an American singer and actress (1913-2005). Langford performed as part of Bob Hope's USO tours during World War II, entertaining troops in Africa, Italy, and the Pacific Theatre. She also appeared with Don Ameche on the radio comedy The Bickersons, which later spawned a television spinoff, The Frances Langford/Don Ameche Show.
Langford's popular songs include Over There with James Cagney and Pennies From Heaven with Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong. She also recorded a Pennies From Heaven Medley featuring Let's Call A Heart A Heart, So Do I, and Skeleton In The Closet.
She also appeared in films such as Dreaming Out Loud, Yankee Doodle Dandy, and The Bamboo Blonde.
