Carole King is an American singer and songwriter. She wrote or co-wrote numerous hit songs that made the Billboard Hot 100. King released the albums Tapestry, which spent 15 consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard album chart and remained on the chart for another six years, and Really Rosie. The Broadway musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical was a biographical jukebox musical that featured her life and music. King is known for her popular songs It's Too Late, I Feel the Earth Move, and You've Got a Friend. She appears in the documentaries Carole King: Natural Woman and Immediate Family, and the film Russkies with Joaquin Phoenix.
