I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair, one of his most popular songs, features Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson. His other most popular songs include Hell and High Water and I Tell It Like It Used to Be.

Brown has appeared in the documentaries Country's Family Reunion Presents Old Time Gospel: Volume Four and Country's Family Reunion: a Grand Ole Time - Volume Four, and also starred in the film Desperate Riders.
