Helena Bonham Carter is a British actress. She appeared in A Room with a View, The Wings of the Dove, The King's Speech, Howards End, Fight Club, Les Misérables, Cinderella, the Harry Potter series, and the Apple TV+ film The Velveteen Rabbit.
Under director Tim Burton, she starred in Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alice in Wonderland, and Dark Shadows.
Carter is also known for her television roles in the BBC television film Burton & Taylor and for playing children's author Enid Blyton in Enid, earning her the International Emmy Award for Best Actress. From 2019 to 2020, she portrayed Princess Margaret in seasons three and four of Netflix's The Crown.
