LEGO MARVEL AVENGERS: STRANGE TAILS is a two-part animated special featuring characters from across the Avengers multiverse in a battle against Meryet Karim (aka "Spinx," voiced by Alia Shawkat). Meryet begins as a harmless-seeming, though annoying, "cat influencer," but it becomes clear that she has villainous motives. The Avengers begin the special battling some of their usual foes like Magneto (Jason Alexander), and Hawkeye (Troy Baker) leads the heroes in thwarting the evil mutants. As more and more cats take over Manhattan, and Meryet mysteriously always appears, the Avengers realize that they have a bigger problem on their hands. The Avengers realize that they need to stop Meryet, who is willing to stop at nothing to gain internet popularity, before the universe is destroyed.
