

Debra Messing
Debra Messing is an American actress who starred as Grace Adler in the sitcom Will & Grace, a role that led to her winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2003. Before landing the part of Grace, Messing starred in Ned & Stacey as Stacey Colbert and had a memorable guest appearance on Seinfeld. After Will & Grace's initial run ended in 2006, Messing starred in movies, including the romantic comedy Purple Violets and a 21st-century update of The Women. In the 2010s, she starred in the Broadway drama Smash as lyricist Julia Houston, and she played Detective Laura Diamond on the crime dramedy The Mysteries of Laura. Messing joined the cast of the Will & Grace revival alongside original cast members Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes in 2017, and she remained on the show until it ended in 2020.
