Amrish Puri was an Indian actor. He worked throughout the 1970s and 1980s, appearing mainly in Hindi films, and later expanded to include Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil films in the 1990s and 2000s. Puri appeared in films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Mohabbatein, both alongside Shah Rukh Khan, and also in Pardes and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. He also played Mola Ram in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
