Furry Lewis was an American blues guitarist and songwriter (c. 1893-1981). He recorded several sides in the 1920s and released albums Back on My Feet Again, Presenting Furry Lewis, and Shake 'Em On Down. Lewis' most popular songs included Kassie Jones, John Henry, and Black Gypsy Blues. He played on national TV, opened for the Rolling Stones, and appeared in the film W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings.
