Glenn Close is an American actress. Her film credits include The Big Chill, Fatal Attraction, Dangerous Liaisons, The Wife, for which she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama, 101 Dalmatians, 102 Dalmatians, Air Force One, Four Good Days, and the Apple TV+ Film Swan Song.
She has also appeared in television series such as Damages, the Apple TV+ series Tehran, and the Apple TV+ series The New Look. Close has won three Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Damages and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story.
Beyond acting, Close has produced the films Albert Nobbs and Cruella. She collaborated with Andrew Lloyd Webber on the song The Perfect Year (Music From Sunset Boulevard).
