The residents of Colt Lake treat former local sports star Deputy Sam Evans (Johnny Simons) like a joke. After a drug-related murder is committed in the small town, new arrival undercover narcotics agent Bobby Gaines (Seann William Scott) is welcomed with open arms. Reluctantly, Evans is forced to work with the hot-shot Gaines, but as they dig deeper into the case, all may not be what it seems with this strange new savior.
