Branford Marsalis is an American saxophonist, composer, and bandleader. He has led the group Buckshot LeFonque. As a leader, he has released albums including Crazy People Music, Loved Ones with his father Ellis Marsalis Jr., and Romances for Saxophone. Marsalis has collaborated with Sting, Béla Fleck, and Bruce Hornsby, resulting in popular songs such as Englishman In New York with Sting and Berta, Berta. He has also appeared in films like Throw Momma From the Train and School Daze.
