Viggo Mortensen is an American actor. He played Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, including The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and starred in David Cronenberg's A History of Violence and Eastern Promises. In 2002, he founded Perceval Press to publish the works of little-known artists and authors. He has directed the films Falling and The Dead Don't Hurt, and produced the film Far From Men.
