Jeremy Irons is a British actor. He appeared in the British miniseries Notorious Woman and the TV adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited. Irons received an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Reversal of Fortune and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his performance in Elizabeth I. He has appeared in films such as Die Hard: With a Vengeance, the DC Extended Universe films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, and the HBO series Watchmen. Beyond acting, Irons produced the documentary Trashed.
