Brown narrated the Apple Original series Shape Island, voiced a character in the Apple Original series Frog and Toad, and appeared in the films Disenchanted and Lady and the Tramp. She has also had notable roles in the television series Community, Call Me Kat, and The Family Business: New Orleans. Additionally, Brown wrote the film Always a Bridesmaid.
