In HADESTOWN: THE MUSICAL, jaded drifter Eurydice (Eva Noblezada) and optimistic musician Orpheus (Reeve Carney) meet and fall in love. While Orpheus is intensely working on a song that he believes will convince the gods to warm and improve the world, all of Eurydice's belongings are stolen. Hungry and out of options, she agrees to come with god/factory owner Hades (Patrick Page) to Hadestown, an underground factory where workers never rest. When Orpheus learns from his mentor Hermes (Andres De Shields) that Eurydice is in the Underworld, he's determined to get her out of her binding contract.
