“This month’s mix crosses borders and generations,” John Digweed tells Apple Music. The August 2026 installment of the DJ/producer’s Compiled & Mixed series is a moody deep-house set featuring tracks from the UK, US, France, Germany, India, and Italy. ”Ils’ ‘No Soul’—the PMT remix—is a genuine breakbeat classic, first released in 2002 on Adam Freeland’s seminal Brighton label, Marine Parade, which I’m excited to hear is making a return this year,” says Digweed. “From there, we jump right back to the future with new music from Dino Lenny, taken from his latest EP on R&S Records. I also loved revisiting Gaffy’s ‘On the Rhodes Again,’ a deep-house gem from 2010 that I played and loved at the time. It’s great to hear more amazing music coming out of India, and this month I had to feature two tracks from SEGUE: ‘Whispers in Time’ and ‘Never Letting Go.’ The final two tracks bring the tempo down, courtesy of Depeche Mode’s ‘Soothe My Soul,’ reworked by Gregor Tresher, and Moritz’s contemplative ‘Midnight Soul.’”
