Martin Freeman is an English actor. He played Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit trilogy and starred as Dr John Watson in the British crime drama television series Sherlock, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie. Freeman also starred in the dark comedy-crime drama TV series Fargo as Lester Nygaard and appeared in the film Black Panther. He has also appeared in Shaun of the Dead, Love Actually, Miller's Girl, and Hot Fuzz. He co-created and starred in Breeders.
