

Bobby Womack
American singer-songwriter and guitarist
Bobby Womack was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist (1944-2014). Womack was the lead singer of his family band The Valentinos. He worked with Sam Cooke, Sly Stone, Aretha Franklin, and Ray Charles. He released solo albums including Fly Me to the Moon, The Poet, and Understanding. His most popular songs include If You Think You're Lonely Now, That's The Way I Feel About 'Cha', and Across 110th Street.. He appeared in the documentary Legend. In 2009, Womack was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
