
Abby Wambach
Abby Wambach is a retired American soccer player. She led the USWNT to victory in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. She scored the equalising goal in the 122nd minute of the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup quarterfinal match against Brazil. She won the 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year award, becoming the first American woman to win in ten years. Abby Wambach appeared in the documentary Bias, the series Angel City, and hosts the relationships podcast We Can Do Hard Things.
