Taraji P. Henson is an American actress. After landing guest roles on series such as Smart Guy and ER, she would go on to make notable appearances on the big screen with roles in films such as Hustle & Flow, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hidden Figures, and The Color Purple.

On television, she starred in series such as Boston Legal, Person of Interest, Empire, and the miniseries Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, and guested on the sitcom Abbott Elementary.

Beyond acting, she's co-directed the film Tell It Like a Woman, produced the films No Good Deed and What Men Want and hosted the podcast Jacked.
