He is known for his work in horror movies, and appeared in films such as House of Usher, The Raven, House on Haunted Hill, Laura, The Last Man on Earth, Backtrack, and Edward Scissorhands, where he worked with Johnny Depp. He also served as the narrator in Michael Jackson's Thriller.
