Armin Shimerman is an American actor and author. Shimerman appeared in Boston Public, and in Star Trek: The Next Generation as a Ferengi alien. He later played the Ferengi character Quark in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Shimerman has also appeared in the films Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus and The Hitcher alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh and Rutger Hauer. Outside of acting, he hosted the TV Reviews podcast The Delta Flyers.
