Paul Reubens was an entertainer known for creating and portraying the fictional comic character Pee-wee Herman. As Pee-wee Herman, Reubens appeared in the films Pee-wee's Big Adventure and Big Top Pee-Wee, which he produced. He also produced Pee-wee's Big Holiday, appeared in the television series Pee-wee's Playhouse, and directed the Pee-wee's Playhouse: Christmas Special. Reubens starred in the Broadway show The Pee-wee Herman Show in 2011 and appeared in the films Blow, Matilda, and Mystery Men. Paul Reubens passed away in 2023.
