Anthony Hopkins is a Welsh actor. His film credits include The Remains of the Day, The Silence of the Lambs where he played Dr. Hannibal Lecter and received an Academy Award for Best Actor, and the Thor franchise. He also appeared in Transformers: The Last Knight, One Life, and Those About to Die. Hopkins won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for The Bunker. He has also ventured behind the camera, directing the film Slipstream.
