Joe Egan was a Scottish songwriter and musician (1946-2024). He and Gerry Rafferty were the principal members of Stealers Wheel for which he co-wrote Stuck In The Middle With You, famously featured in Reservoir Dogs, and released the album Out Of Nowhere. After the band disbanded, Egan released solo albums. He also providing backing vocals on Rafferty's album On A Wing & A Prayer. Egan's most popular songs include Leavin' It All Behind, Back On The Road, and The Last Farewell.
