Doug Sahm was an American country and blues rock musician (1941-1999). He formed the Sir Douglas Quintet in the 1960s and recorded numerous albums showcasing various Texas music traditions. Sahm released the albums Doug Sahm and Band, Groover's Paradise, and The Return of Wayne Douglas. He appeared in the films Cisco Pike and More American Graffiti.
