Ted Neeley is an American singer, musician and actor. He released an album with his group the Teddy Neeley Five. He later released the solo album 1974 A.D. and an extended play, Rock Opera. Neeley played Jesus in the 1973 film adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar and appeared in the television movie production of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Among his most popular songs are Everything's Alright, Gethsemane (I Only Wanted To Say), and What's The Buzz. Neeley has also appeared in the films Hard Country and Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival.
