Nels Cline is an American guitarist and composer. He released Lovers, Room with Julian Lage, and Woodstock Sessions, Vol. 2 with Medeski, Martin & Wood. Cline joined Wilco, having previously been best known for his work in Quartet Music and other jazz, rock, improv, and avant-garde projects. Cline's most popular songs include The 23, Glad To Be Unhappy, and Down Close. He appears in the documentary Carmine Street Guitars.
