KRS-One is an American rapper. He led the prominent hardcore hip-hop group Boogie Down Productions during the late 1980s and as a solo artist released albums including Life, I Got Next, KRS-One and Return of the Boom Bap. His most popular songs include Step Into a World (Rapture’s Delight), MC’s Act Like They Don’t Know and A Friend. KRS-One has appeared in documentaries such as Jamel Shabazz Street Photographer, Rhyme and Punishment and Stretch and Bobbito: Radio That Changed Lives.
