Apollonia Kotero is an American singer and actress. She starred as the female lead in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain, appeared in the films Black Magic Woman with Mark Hamill and Ministry of Vengeance, and released her debut album in 1988. Kotero later released a Spanish/English ballad titled Stay with Me in 1997, an exercise video, and formed her own production company. She has also released the singles Purple Haze and Remote Kontrol (Tania Mann & Peter Dafnous Presents).
