Thurl Ravenscroft was an American actor (1914-2005). He provided voice acting for the whale in Disney's Pinocchio, various characters in Disney's Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland, and sang You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch for the 1966 animated feature How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Ravenscroft also voiced Kirby in The Brave Little Toaster and was the voice of Tony the Tiger in Frosted Flakes commercials. He appeared in the films Horton Hears a Who!and The Cat in the Hat.
