Ravi Shankar was an Indian sitarist and composer. He worked with George Harrison of The Beatles, released the albums The Sounds of India, Chants of India, and Shankar & Glass: Passages with Philip Glass, and won Grammy Awards for Best Chamber Music Performance for West Meets East and Best Global Music Album for Full Circle: Carnegie Hall 2000. Shankar's songs include Tarana, Dádrá, and Tabla-Dhwani.
