Adam Schlesinger was an American musician, songwriter, composer, and record producer. He co-founded Fountains of Wayne, Ivy, and Tinted Windows, and became a principal in Scratchie Records in 1995. Schlesinger composed tracks for TV programs and commercials, including the theme song for That Thing You Do! He also produced Cry-Baby: The Musical with David Javerbaum.
