Israeli singer
Ofra Haza was an Israeli singer. She placed second in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1983. Haza released the albums Live At The Montreux Jazz Festival, מנגינת הלב and שירי תימן (Yemenite Songs). Her vocal recordings have been utilised as samples in various musical genres including hip-hop and techno, notably in M/A/R/R/S’ track Pump Up the Volume. She released the song Deliver Us with Eden Riegel and her most popular songs include Goodbye Brother and Cry.
