Perla Batalla is an American singer. She released her self-titled debut solo album and has since released albums Mestiza, A Letter to Leonard Cohen, and Bird On the Wire - The Songs of Leonard Cohen. Batalla became a background singer for Leonard Cohen and K.D. Lang. Her most popular songs include Suzanne, Ballad of the Absent Mare, and Dance Me to the End of Love. She appeared in the documentary Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man and the film You Know My Name with Sam Elliott.
