Dan Wilson is an American musician. He joined Trip Shakespeare shortly after they released their first album Applehead Man in 1986. Wilson later formed Semisonic in 1995, releasing The Great Divide in 1996 and Feeling Strangely Fine in 1998 which included the song Closing Time written and sung by Wilson. He has released solo albums Free Life, Love Without Fear, and Re-Covered. Among his most popular songs are Easy Silence and Someone Like You.
