Bob Neuwirth was an American musician (1939-2022). Neuwirth met Bob Dylan in 1961, leading to a close friendship and early tour companionship. Neuwirth released the solo albums Bob Neuwirth and Last Day On Earth with John Cale. He had songs including Rock Salt and Nails, Haul on the Bowline, and Lucky Too.   Neuwirth appeared in the documentary Dont Look Back and the film Slaves to the Underground.
