

Tito Guizar
Mexican singer and actor (1908-1999)
Tito Guizar was a Mexican singer and actor (1908-1999). He recorded in New York with songs composed by Agustin Lara in 1929 and performed at Carnegie Hall in the mid-1930s. Guizar released the albums Estrellas De Méjico with Luis Pérez Meza and Los Panchos, and Vintage Music No. 86. He also released an extended version of Vintage México N° 81. Among his songs are Madre (Bolero), Alguna Vez and Deseo. Guizar appeared in the films Blondie Goes Latin, De Ranchero a Empresario, and the television series Marimar.
