Shannon Lawson is an American musician. He wrote songs for the group The Galoots; his tunes won him a deal with a Nashville publishing house. He scored a major-label deal with MCA Records in 2001 and released the album Chase the Sun. Lawson's most popular songs include Goodbye on a Bad Day, This Old Heart, and Who's Your Daddy.
