Chubby Checker is an American rock 'n' roll singer and dancer. His 1960 cover of The Twist is widely credited with popularising the Twist dance craze, and he released the albums Dancin' Party: The Chubby Checker Collection (1960-1966), It's Pony Time / Let's Twist Again, and Let's Limbo Some More. Checker has popular songs including Let's Twist Again and Limbo Rock. He has appeared in the film Calendar Girl released in 1993 and the documentary The Outrageous Sophie Tucker.
